The short answer is no. Absent evidence of significant misconduct on the judge’s part, there is simply no way that a motion to recuse will win, and asking for that kind of relief will further alienate the judge.
Sometimes judges appear to have a personality conflict with a spouse or with an attorney, and can appear abrasive or biased toward one party. That doesn’t mean that your case will be decided in an unfair way, or that your settlement will be balanced against you.
When there’s a conflict with the judge, the best approach is to work to accommodate them.
Show up for hearings on time, be prepared for the matters to be discussed, be civil to your spouse and the judge, and try to maintain a productive atmosphere.
